Tax: £125.69 Our 6 litre Wet Chemical Extinguisher is Quality LPCB certified stored pressure wet chemical fire extinguisher suitable for use on class F and A fires. These include cooking oils, fats, wood, paper and cloth. Manufactured to BS 7937, this extinguisher is designed for use on cooking oil and fat fires up to 75 Litres. No other extinguisher should be used in a commercial kitchen with cooking oil and fat. It is suitable for use on deep fat fryers. 75F 13A fire rating. Important note - this Extinguisher is made from stainless steel so there will be no problems with rotting linings

Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher Information

Our wet chemical fire extinguisher is kitemarked, CE marked and approved by the BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) so you can buy with the confidence that you will have a quality wet chemical extinguisher.

Chip pan fires can be a real handful and need to be dealt with as fast as possible with temperatures reaching as high as 340 degrees. The wet chemical extinguisher has been design specifically to deal with these fires and our extinguisher conforms to BS 7937: 2000, a new standard for extinguishers treating Class F fires.

The extinguisher also comes with a long lance that allows you to put out the far at a safe distance.
Basically the way a wet chemical extinguisher works is by putting a layer of foam over the oil thereby smothering the fire and also preventing re-ignition.

We supply our 6 litre wet chemical extinguisher with a flat base for easy standing and a bracket that allows you to fix the extinguisher to the wall.

Our wet chemical extinguishers are also guaranteed for 5 years subject to them being correctly serviced by a qualified engineer.
